The drinks here aren't so bad. Otherwise, I hate the place. It's not that I'm not used to humans thinking they can own anything, including us, but here they even pull that with their own species. The same thing goes for the rest of the squishies on this lousy sandball.
I can't figure out how they justify this. At home it was always because they made us, or they claimed we weren't real people just really good simulations. BS excuses, sure, but they're ones that don't work when pulling that with your own kind. And I know humans in our own universe did that earlier in history, but I still can't grasp how they convince themselves it's right.
I'm tempted to suggest we expand on the importation policy, but the last thing we need is more squishies on Mars. Besides, there are even some slaves here who get freed and then turn right around and buy slaves of their own. If they're really that stupid, we don't need to drop the colony's collective IQ.
